Diff upgrade

Default Diff upgrade

Well ive broken my first diff, ripped the teeth off the pinion
im running a turbo and around 300hp at the wheels
diff is an os giken unit and i have a new trust diff extention to fit
my question is there anyone in the UK that can make the casing stronger i now its a week point and have seen the items that
King and Puddydad do
is there anyone in the UK that can do the same sort of work

I'm sure someone does it in the UK and its cheaper than aftermarket diff but I'm not convinced tbh.

Great stuff Tom, are you going ahead with this?. In the above thread it doesn't look like it was ever completed.

On my old diff it had a 4.57r FD in it and it went at 165k - the ring and pinion had excessive wear and i think a chunk had come off but it had covered around 60k before it went this was superchargered circa 420BHP.

Diff's look to be at least £350 for a decent one for R33 GTS?

I've got a spare s2k diff here mate, if or when both bite the dust I may well look into doing this.

thanks i already picked a diff up £100 to use as a new doner
