Quick question, looking at getting a hard top for the car

My car is a UK red 2002 ’52’, always thought that this is red was called new formula red. Just had a look at some touch up paint that was purchased from Honda a few months back, and the touch up paint is labelled as Ascari red.

The hard top I have seen for sale is being sold as a Milano red (called this by the seller)

So my question is there 3 different types of red on the S2000, or is it a case of its all the same red just called different things by different people?

The paint code for your car should be in the drivers door jamb.

Milano Red is the EP3/FN2 Civic Type R colour. Its common for people to get the actual name wrong IME.

 

Weird this should come up.

I just purchased a touch up stick from Honda, gave them my paint code R510 (new forumla red) but the touch up stick I collected at lunchtime says Ascari Red on it. Will try it tonight.

 

Ascari and New Formula are the same red, and same paint code. it was called Ascari in North America, but couldn't be in Europe due to IP issues I believe
