Which Colour
Hello Everyone
i am starting my journey into being a S2000 owner from a Toyota MR2 and want something different.
I am looking around the UK market places and have a question or two
My current car is Red and looks faded, do the S2000 from 2000 also look faded as i think Red fades if i read right.
do they hold their red colour?
thanks all

I've never seen a New Formula Red car with faded paint, as in a lighter shade of red or oxidized red. NFR cars tend to get darker if the paint wasn't been maintained properly. If the paint is not too far gone an orbital polisher can be used to bring back the original color and shine.

Now, if you're talking oxidation -- that's something else.

if you want a red s2k, id say go for it since there are also so many other factors to be thrown in.
depending on how previous owners have taken care of the paint
if its parked inside or outside
a good detail also helps bring out the red in a car
any color paint will look "dull" if not taken care of
the paint on my MY00 GPW is very good and most are surprised to find out its 13 years old.
