Well productive day today! After seeing threads recently about refurbishing centre caps, I decided today was the day to do it myself! So, caps off, cleaned, prepped and painted. Have applied a couple of coats of lacquer and now waiting on the honda logos to arrive (ordered from flebay this morning). When they arrive, will apply and then a few more coats of lacquer and jobs a good'un.

Whilst painting also stripped, cleaned up and refurbed the battery bracket.

Also while I was having an afternoon working on the car, found a great diy garage with car lifts (in Sheffield) so so took the S in, stipped all the under plastic trim, wire brushed the surprisingly little amount of rust (I have a MY04) and applied a full underseal. Filthy job but is another off my list! Just home and given the car a clean to remove any dust and garage gunk!

Time for a beer me thinks!

Edit: the DIY garage is fully equipped and use of all their tools is included

Which garage was it ? Was it the one in the city centre near the nelson pub or the one half way up rutland road ?
They are the two I have heard of ,£10 per hr ?

T'was the one in the Centre by the Nelson. £10 per hour and the owner is very helpful. Although he won't do jobs for you he is always willing to talk though jobs, show you processes and will lend a helping hand when needed.

I heard that the one on Rutland road had closed although not 100% sure how reliable that info was!
