Great colour, has it got all the kit that porkers drivers want when it comes time to sell?

G

PS Those wheels are great as they are not the 'norm', but will be a bitch to clean!

Gazzer, dunno about the right kit. It doesn't have traction control, but quite like that. Never found the S a problem.

Apart from the full red interior, it has sport seats, ali dials...err upgraded stereo, rear wiper (why the f**k that isn't standard I don't know), leather head lining...

I'm really going to miss the S though. I drove back from the dealers in my S on Friday, via the Peak District, like I'd stolen the thing. It's such a great car and a buzz to drive.

Hear, hear!

It looks great, so well done, I'm sure it will sail through its inspection. Them 996's sure are expensive still!

You only live once....

Good luck, and I hope the missis lets you keep the S (you know you've married the right lass if she does!)

I sold my S last year Dean, I've got something to take on your 996 mind you. In fact I should post pics of my new beast, looks like I gotta join up again. Man does time fly! And yes the Missus is a car nut too!

Now that my, ahem, circumstances have changed and I don't need the Grand Cherokee anymore - I'm looking to upgrade but not until after the winter.

I'm still after something hardcore and as there are a few GT3s and GT2s knocking about here, not to mention the vastly difference in price to the UK - I've been looking at a 996 as well.

My only concern is the image it might give off to my clients - they'll probably think I'm ripping them off. I'm not, of course I just run an efficient company.

small, but they take a baby seat and booster. Porsche want 380 squid for the seat though - cheaky b**tards.

I've gone and taken the plunge too.

I was originally looking for a Boxster S, then decided I fancied a 996, ended up buying a 993 C2S.

I'll miss the S, but I've still very excited about the replacement. Old fashioned air-cooled fun!
