While down south over the weekend, I was cruising along the motorway when I heard what I though was some ricer come up along side me and then pass me, I thought he had some noisy exhaust but it was me. I pulled over and had a look/listen, the near side can sounded loud, very loud.

We carried on our journey and it seemed to go or did we get use to hearing it? But now its seems to be back to normal, what would cause this?

When my supersprints really really hot it makes a noise when blipping the throttle....don't know what causes it and its so hard to get it hot enough to make it happen....

Could be something internally worked itself loose and got stuck in the pipe and then fell out. My only concern being that it was something important.

I am no mechanic though so just giving my opinion.

Could it be a loose baffle?

Possibly something came loose through heat or resonance from being at the same revs for a while, and then returned to normal as it cooled down?
