Does the S2000 have a speed limiter at 150mph?

I thought the limit of the car was 150mph in stock form - part of the reason i won't change my final drive.
That said, at 140mph, a lot's going on.

I saw 156mph (on the GPS) in my stock S2000 along a gentle downhill stretch of autobahn... the speedo was reading in km... 262...?
So, no limiter that I am aware of...

if there was going to be a limiter it would be done on the readout of the speedo - so you'd never see more than 150mph.
That's why alot of Jap imports use a MPH convertor - it basically means that the speedo reads in MPH, on the same gauges as Stock - hence your readout never gets up to the 190 odd mph that the car thinks it's going. it's basically just a resistor for the signal.
There's no reader - I saw 155mph indicated on sat nav (on a piece of private runway - naturally)
