I'm looking to get the centre panels of my door cards retrimmed. I've spoken with a scrappie who has a pair of pre 02 door cards in for a good price, and I wanted to know if the centre section would fit my 02 car? I'm not looking to simply swap over the whole door card, as I want to retain my tweeters.

My understanding is there are four different types of door card for the S.

99-01 - No speaker tweeters.
02-03 - Same design as above but with tweeters.
04-06 - Tweeter cover shape has changed from above, and the middle section is a different design.
06-current - same as above, but the silver bits are darker in colour.

 

I know for certain the inner panels from 01 and 03 models are interchangeable. Not to sure on the size and shape on the 04> though.
It pretty straight forward once the door card is removed the panels simply screw in from the back of the door card.
