Default Door controls

Are the switches housed in the door (window control / wing mirror control etc..optimistic use of etc...I thinks thats all isn't it?) supposed to illuminate (in the dark obviously with the lights on!) like in proper cars?

Just realised that they don't - and perhaps they should?

Mines a Dec 03 (in Macho Blue...)

It seems to be a Honda thing. None of the Hondas I've owned (CRX, Civic 5-door, S2000) has had the door controls illuminated.

What's the point? I know exactly where the switches are in the S by touch. I mean, it's not exactly festooned with switch gear is it?

Fine on Audis, Beemers et al but i'm not sure switch illumination came high on the list of design imperitives when the S was designed 10 years ago.

I like it.

Proper cars are the ones that have the driver at the heart of the car Like the S.

I think even if they were illuminated you wouldnt see them.

Not all Hondas - Prelude has window switch lit up - (too much for my liking). I think CTR did as well. Can't remember Accord nut I thought it did.

Sometimes I have trouble finding door opener (always reach too high), but not a problem.
