Default Drfiting / Powersliding

Bit new on the rear wheel drive style . Was wondering what the difference was between drifting and powersliding ? Also what is the prefered style to induce either. Do you voilently steer and add power ?

The S isn't the easiest car to provoke on demand. It's lack of torque at lower revs means that you've got to cane it to get the rear to break traction. VTEC bring a surge of power, but it all happens pretty quickly and you need to be on your toes.

To provoke the car, you need to upset its balance. There are plenty of ways of doing it so I suggest you just play around. Just make sure you find an open space for your first few gos until you get the hang of it.

I had a Chimaera before the S and it was a completely different kettle of fish. I only had to breathe on the throttle in wet conditions and the back end would give way ...

drifting = being sideways before the turn and going though the turn sideways.... (powersliding is also involved)

powersliding = powering yourself though a turn...
