Driven chn 4
As far as I know they are comparing modern day hot hatches...civic type R, clio 172 etc against sports cars like the S2000.
So anyone on here think that the S2000 will be beaten by the Civic type R or 172 ??
Serious predictions please...think they might have some Seat Cupra thing as well.

OK first off this is Driven we are talking about.... alright, I may be somewhat biased against the program since the 360 Modena group test but heaven knows they have made some wierd comparisons in the past.
Ian - I'm sure you can regale us with the Camaro debacle....
I fully expect the S2000 to be panned and Driven to announce that a Seat Arosa 3 cylinder diesel is the only car you'll ever need.
On the other hand any footage of an S2000 and CTR being given a good thrashing is well worth watching

Are civic type R's not soft tops then
Just interested in what you guys think will be the outcome tonight. I have an Elise 160 at the moment and although would not have any doubts about that being quicker on the track than the mentioned hot hatches I have no real knowledge of the S2000.
I would imagine that it will be slightly quicker. The handling can not be worse that the Civic and it has more power but as mentioned I have no idea.
Has anyone taken there S on the track..how does it do ?
