Ian - I'm sure you can regale us with the Camaro debacle....

If Jason Plato drives the cars then I expect the S2000 to show a clean set of S-02's to the rests, if its eaither of the others then its in the lap of the gods. Also if they test on track then I would also expect the S2000 to perform very well (unless its very wet), if its country roads then the S2000 will probably get slated.

I'm dubious too. The 4car website/email should abused and spammed beyond belief if such an atrocity should occur!

I'm looking forward to this! Having test driven the CTR which is pretty quick.

However, I think it's 0-60 time is about 6.8 secs, it doesn't have the chassis and suspension of the S2000, and while the suspension is good there is noticeable body roll when cornering when compared to the S2000.

In the dry the S2000 should pee all over the CTR for acceleration and cornering. In the wet, the FWD CTR might have the advantage.

As long as it's fair, ... equal drivers etc., and I don't end up throwing things at the telly!

Well I didn't think it was too bad! It was very close, and it would have been a different outcome in the dry!

Just seen it - did anyone else think that looked a little staged to get the outcome they wanted ?

(CTR beat S2k) I just know what my Civic-owning friends will say at work tomorrow !!

Wasnt that bad in the end, as we expected wet track hence the Civic won. However I think Plato was more on the limit than the other guy, particuarly that last corner.

Honda have a super car in the CTR, I read last week that they had estimated sales of 1500 but thats now looking more like 4000, for the price its a real bargain.

I was surprised at the start, I didnt expect the S2000 to pull away like it did, If I floored mine Im sure Id get more wheelspin than that but saying that I do have 13K on my rears now.
