My front drivers side speaker stopped working the other day so I assumed the speaker had blown.

So, I purchased a new set of speakers to replace the standard ones but it appears that the front speaker was not blown as the new speakers didnt work either.

What could cause this? I dont think there are any fuses related to the speakers?

Does your Peter Andre megamix still work?

When you back down South bud?

 

Water leaks in the doors can cause rust on the speaker terminals.

Have a good poke around inside the door - might be worth checking the headunit output too.

 

Connector to rear of stereo loose?

Is it the same with cd changer (if you have one!) as with radio? could be cd lead connection loose.
