Default Dyno graph

Here's a dyno graph from today, unfortunately the HFC cat failed a couple of weeks ago and it effected the AFR. Also i knew i needed to tweak fueling uptop but mainly pre 5k rpm. I spent a bit of time today to reduce the increased rev limit i orginally had, richened up the AFR up top due to running more boost, played with the vtec engagement point and altered timing, around a lowered vtec point is the only point you will need advanced timing with F/I.

I'm very happy now with the power delivery and curve. The readout is a little wobbly due to the dyno and the RPM reader was being dicky so the final peak power is actually around 8800rpm (looks how it doesn't really dip), my mate is actually building a 1000BHP 4 wheel dyno as his current one is on its last legs.

It hit 394BHP at the start of day and started heading towards the magical 400BHP (but not quite), decided to not 'sail as close to the wind' regarding timing - as it was on the limit IMO.

It pulls likes MB in a gay bar!

Who said you can't get good results from a piggyback .

Looking good!!

Curves look very nice indeed.

392bhp is plenty and here's hoping it stays reliable too!

Serious question, could you fit a dry sump with the S/C on?

Thanks, painstakingly tuned it on the road and dyno.

I'd love to get stuck into engine tuning. Out of interest AJ it looks like your aiming for around 12:1wot tapering richer at higher rpm. What made you choose that figure?

Leaner pre vtec @12. 6 tapers then , then tapers to 12.3 throughout then 11.8 at top end for cooling and when it's making most boost.

Generally n/a run in low 13's, supercharged low 12's, turbo low to mid 11's.

With this in mind going leaner did generate more power but wasn't worth it.
