Default Ebay warning - Anyone know this guy?

I just won the following auction;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...QfromZR8QQfviZ1

I phoned the guy and told him I'd won the auction. He was not at his PC so asked how much it had gone for. When I told him he said it was sold and therefore he could not sell it.

Pretty bad form if you asked me. A deal is a deal.

Anyone buying from this guy be warned.

Shame ebay has become a hangout for unscrupulous traders. Trust me on this one as I'm going to court next month to testify against the guy who was breaking MY stolen motorbike on there.

I can't report him. Ebay 'rules' state there needs to be 10 days to resolve disputes.

I could him banned instantly if I wanted. I know the head of security there from previous dealings with ebay.

There's not much ebay can do really. I just don't like being messed about by people who get their sums wrong.

I was watching that item too, thankfully didnt bid...

Lets group together and give him some bad votes?

Im sure if we get at least 10 negatives on him no - one will deal with him, he would have to change his account!!

Have another look on there, im sure theres some more hard tops,
there was one off an 05` plate in the week..

Off for a butchers.

[QUOTE=Lurking Lawyer,Feb 19 2006, 03:08 PM] Interestingly, the perceived "market rate" tallies with the difference which Parkers' Guide quotes on the p/x price for a roadster and an equivalent GT -

Doesn't GTFCTIM live nearby. Can't see any other reason why anyone would support GTFC Maybe he can go round and educate Calel2000.
