ecu options
I went down this route at the beginning of the year got a AEM from Mase and got him to tune it too and all i can say is what a waste of money.
I didn't see any real time gains when driving the car.... it said i had extra BHP at the wheels from the dyno print out but i couldn't feel them.
In the end the car wouldn't start with the AEM fitted so had to put the standard one back on and the car felt quicker with the old one.

i have searched i found quite a few topics by s2konroids but still not sure whats worth and now if it's worth getting
budget can be whatever as long as it'll do the job and is good value for money but i'm not that sure what i'm looking for and what will benefit me the most as i'm not going to be doing much more engine wise but from what i'v read the mods can make the engine run lean and an ecu is the next thing to get the most from it

Can you use some full stops? It's pretty difficult to read your posts!
With the mods you have, it's unlikley you will be running lean - I think you would ahve to add a manifold. But just get it on a dyno for an AFR check. If you want the power / best from your mods, i'd be looking at a bolt in ECU like J's / Spoon etc, but you'd have to wait for one to pop up for sale. Doesn't make a huge difference, 5-10 ish bhp and a lower VTEC. The different ones offer different power / torque in different places, so you willhave to go and do some searching. There are loads of topics...

When starting the car with an AEM it won't start immediately you need to wait a few seconds. If after that it won't start I believe that it can be easily adjusted.
