I can't remember what size it is off top of head. I've just checked my E10, so if that doesn't fit, try the E12. I can promise you you won't need a hammer at all!

Right, next one up from the E10 that didn't fit is an E12 which is too big. So unless your toolbox has a magic E11 in it I have no idea how you did it.
