Default Electrics problem?

Hi All,

Have noticed an issue with the S over the last week or so. When at coming up to a roundabout or turning if I push the clutch in tochange gear (with the indicator on) the indicator speeds up and the whole dash flashes in time with the indicator. Any ideas what is causing this? Doest seem to effect anything else its just really annoying.

Re-do the earthing points... dead easy to do.

Open the bonnet and look at the very front end of the flitches (inner wings) on the passanger side just in front of the expansion tank you will see a M10 bolt (10mm spanner size) securing about 5 Brown wires. The identical set up on the other side.

Remove positive lead from battery, then remove both bolts, use wet and dry to clean all the eye-lets on the end of the wires, lightly sand a
small amount of paint around the bolt holes to achieve a good earth, refit and the apply grease for protection.

Also check the tightness of both battery terminals, it could be these at fault.
