Hi,

Just noticed that a couple of pipes in my engine bay are missing some of the protective foam, should I look into covering these again? Does anyone have any idea how this could have happened, what parts being removed/replaced would cause these marks?



This is at the front right of the bay quite deep down in the middle of the picture

It's just because the foam gets brittle with age, they're the aircon piping so I wouldn't worry too much about it

 

Could be rodents of some sort, they will take it off for bedding.
