Default Engine knocking

Afternoon one and all, i'm after a bit of help.
Can anyone tell me what would be making this knocking noise from the head before i start tearing into it? My initial thoughts are the rockers.

Use a mechanics stethoscope and you should be able to locate it.

Similar (although louder and more prominent) to the noise mine makes. Seems to be a normal piston slap noise when cold, consensus of the many people who listened to it. It's never been as loud as yours though.

Have been able to narrow it down to the head using the age old screwdriver on ear technique. It only does it when warm, quiet as a mouse when cold.

I might get flamed but it could be TCT timing chain tensioner, mine was not too dissimilar and it was fine when cold

I had a similar noise. Could only be heard when the engine was hot.

Oil pump was faulty and the little ends were rattling. Engine had done 17k miles and was replaced under warranty.
