engine light on

Default engine light on

Found the code, P0500 Vehicle speed sensor (VSS) Circuit Malfunction, any ideas what to check and where to start, thanks

Is it a JDM? I bet it is.

Look for the speed converter either by the gearbox, or by the ECU in the passenger footwell.

Good guess Dembo it is a jdm, i pulled the carpet up before and could not see anything other than the ecu so it must be on the gearbox, are these units easy to get?

Yes, but I'd have a look at the wiring first. Obviously it's pretty exposed to to elements down by the gearbox.

Thanks for the advise, will have it up on the ramps as soon as i get it taxed, its been off the road for month, my mate has bought a elise s1 so i want get it back on the road for some trackdays with him
