Default Ecu problems

Hi all. Just asking for a little advice. I've got an early JDM ap1, and somewhere down the line I think a ukdm engine has been dropped in as the engine code is F20C2-****
I think I have a faulty ecu as it won't read my secondary o2 sensor. So I have picked up a UKDM ecu with the key and the transponder. My plan is to fabricate a little loom for the transponder and wire it in with the key selotaped to it. I think I have found the corresponding pins for the immobiliser, I can't however find the pin for the fuel pump relay on my original JDM ecu so I can rewire it to the immobiliser one. If that makes sense. Does anyone know which pin it is, and even if it is possible?

Cheers, Edd

Faulty ECUs are rare. UKDM engines work fine with JDM ECUs (Whereas UKDM ECU with throw a CEL with JDM engine).

I think it's a wiring issue with your secondary 02 sensor.

Is the fueling map not different because of the different compression?

All I'm getting is a constant 3 volt reading on the secondary O2 sensor and we have checked the wiring back to the ecu :s

Have you replaced the O2 sensor? Don't worry about the fuelling - I know of a UKDM engine in a JDM car from years ago that is running fine. The UKDM engine has sensors that the JDM doesn't. Infact, You may throw a CEL with the UKDM ECU due to fore mentioned missing sensor wiring.
