Default Engine oil

Hey folks

Is this stuff ok to replace engine oil. I got the wrong one through and don't have time to return it.

It's a 5-40 synthetic, so I don't see why not.
Keep your eye on the consumption and maybe change out at the next 4.5k interval.

Just make sure that the oil they sent you is as expensive as what you ordered!!

According to the Opie website it's recommended for the 'S'.

There's no need to change oil until the 9k service interval, if its a track car then yes but if its your daily drive the oil will last a year or the service interval.

9k is the SERVICE interval and probably the maximum you would run the same oil

pretty much all VTEC fanatics change their oil every 3 months, or 3000 to 4500 miles
