Default Engine and Transmission mounts

I thought i'd give Honda a ring today and get some prices .....

Engine Mounts - just the rubbers

£195.51 x 2

Transmission mounts - just the rubbers

£55.81 x 2

+ VAT

£589.40

I must be severely underestimating the R&D involved. Even the chap on the parts desk was chuckling.

That's some expensive rubber. (And i thought condoms were a rip off - £10 for less than 5g of rubber?! Get lost!!)

indeed, anything to do with S2000 and NSX, Honda like to slap a huge price tag on it

...and then they put the price tag down, to them being "specialist parts for very rare/speciality cars"

I took your advice and bought the uprated ones, much much better job than the OE ones..

No way someone took my advice

surely not , pleased they are pretty good mounts, the car feels more solid

i am sure someone will be along to tell us mugenasmspooncuscogreddy mounts are better
