Default Engine weights

An unusual question but a friend is building a kit car. Anyone know the rough weight of the K20a, F20c and the C32a/C30a engines please?

need to post a price for these "Engine Weights" I'm afraid.

What sort of gains can I expect to see? Will they fit an AP1?

*edit* to qualify the above nonsense - this was once in the FS section

The F20C is by far the heaviest of them all and as such should only really be in a production car, like the S2000, instead of being removed from the circle of life and sentenced to a short horid existance in a kit car.

Define Engine, if you include the stock fly, manifolds and fluids then 150KG+ for an F20c.

There are a few Lotus related sites that compare the S2000 engine against others like tuned Rover K series engines.

150kg sounds on the heavy side.
I know a comparable engine (Dual over head cam with variable valve timing and variable lift systems using aluminium block and head) is approx 100kg complete with oil fill, intake and exhaust manifolds and clutch plate/cover/flywheel assy

Theres a thread if you search regarding a k series engine it was by me quite a bit ago. On the webpage it discusses various engines including the f20c and K series, IIRC it was ~110kg without fluids but i cant be sure.
