Fine if you enjoy Russian Roulette, that is.

Enkeis require a tapered nut. A bevel in a taper may crack the wheel/come undone, etc.

On different aftermarket wheels - TPI steel ones. Cheap, well made, come in different colours and available with an obfuscated pattern which can still be torqued up. If you go for silver ones they look like OEM.

Don't go for alloy ones, the different thermal expansion coefficient compared to the studs means they undo themselves.

He's right, you will need to modify your arches, I'm running 255 and 225 17x9 and 17x8 et45 which is a fairly wide setup but I've had mine pulled and rolled as well as the rear bumper tab relocation and they just about don't rub anymore.

Running 6two1 wheel nuts with my enkei's and love them!

Odd size choice if one doesn't want to roll the arches , there is a thread about sizing somewhere that floppy did with all the info about offsets etc .

And why not 8 at front and 9 on rear for the correct stagger and the staggered tyres looking right on the rims .

Yep if the bore has a tapered seat the bottom seat of the nut should match and the OEM nuts have a bullnose so they will not seat , so expect wheels to fall off some time soon! Should be fun though wondering what the vibrations are just before the sharp reduction in ride height as one is over taken by a solitary wheel!

Maybe I am just to old now!

My car with 8 on front with 225,s and 9 on rear with 255, the offsets are high , can't remember the numbers nor the tyre aspect ratio of the tyres , to grumpy to look at the moment !
