EPS light and heavy steering
Hi,
My car has the EPS light on and the power steering doesnt appear to be working correctly as the wheel feels much heavier than normal. I havent used the car much. Could this be connected with low battery? Any other thoughts. The search brings up the fact that i could be overreving whilst stationary is this a definite possibility??
Any help welcome. I dont want to have to take it to Honda to be screwed.
Cheers.

Have you been starting the car and holding the revs higher with the pedal to charge the battery,? I did this and got an eps 18 months ago,
As steve says charge battery and reset, you will need to drive it for a minute or two for eps to clear, boab you won't get a fault code with eps light (electronic power steering)

perhaps get the CEL code first?
Have you driven the car for a few hundred yards to see if it kicks in and the light goes out, Matty?

Moto / Aquila are right, it should go out if you turn the car off, start it again, let it idle for a bit, then go and drive it.
Mine went off as soon a s I drove off and turned the wheel.
It happens if the revs stay too high at idle IIRC. Gets confused
