Guessing that 04> means 04+.

Part No. 39980-S2A-A05 fits 2004-2009 only. Search eBay for that part number.

You can see the number chuck mentions on your module

There is a trader on eBay claims they have this for all years but ££££

Thanks all,

Yea, the prices of the modules is expensive.

Will likely have to pick an older one up pre 04 and will feedback if it works or not on my 07.

Thanks again for the replies, have a great week

What part number is in your car? The part number I listed has a notation that it replaces 39980-S2A-A04 and 39980-S2A-A03 so look for those part numbers as well. The North American 2006+ cars have traction control and vehicle stabilization which depend on this module but UK cars may vary. I'll be surprised if the pre-2004 versions will work but hopefully someone will have fit one. These are electronic vs merely electrical. *

* Is it electrical or electronic?
An electric circuit simply powers machines with electricity. However, an electronic circuit can interpret a signal or an instruction, and perform a task to suit the circumstance. For example, a microwave oven often bleeps when it has finished cooking, to inform the user that his or her meal is ready.

my EPS/VSA module failed some years ago (2008 S2000) - it was a real headache - tried sending it away to get fixed - soldering and microboard replacement, but they couldn't repair it, which meant a 1500 GBP replacement by Honda. Not sure why it went but my car had been stored for a while on a battery maintainer, for some reason I felt the maintainer may have fried it.
Good luck!

Thanks Chuck, my model number is J 39980-S2A-04 and according to what you've suggested then I can go with 39980-S2A-A05

Really good advice and saved me a lot of time and money !

Thank you again
