Default Valve spring compressor

Any one got a device for compressing the valve springs without removing head , bracket thing that bolts to the head once cams are removed ?

seen those since I posted , most likely cost more to post both ways lol

New valve stem seals and check retainers maybe replace the inlet retainers if they look at all dodgy.

New plug tube seals and of course check and adjust valve clearances

That's the type I used: Wallace's S2000 Track/Race car build - Page 12 - S2KI Honda S2000 Forums

Does need a bit of grinding down to clear the injector rail though.

How do you stop the valve from dropping if you don't have a compressor?

Pretty much, just feed it in through the spark plug hole with the piston at BDC until you can't get anymore in then as Noodels said rotate to TDC and it will compress the rope onto the cylinder head and hold the valves.
