Post ESter is back from the dead!

Hello, all!

Just wanted to post to our UK friends that we got our beloved S back on the road today after much headache and turmoil with the stealership. Big thanks to Garage R and Kiwi for their help shipping/locating a motor - she is purring like a kitten, and the new clutch is FANTASTIC! We're looking to make a trek up to the UK before the summer ends, so once we take a look at your upcoming meets we will let everyone know the date.

Cheers,

Lando and Kristi

Great news Lando !

If you're coming to the UK let me know, you have my email

We have a couple of spare rooms if you need them, but also it'd be nice to just meet up for a beer.

Viva l'Euromeet !

Lee:

Count on that brewskie - thanks for the offer of a place to stay, too. I will talk to Kris and drop you a line when the plans are firmed up. We are looking at late July-ish (maybe early August) right now and maybe just a three or four day trip...

Thomas:

Garage R did a great job getting things to me in short order. My stealership whined that the motor might not work and that their luck with engine pulls is 50% at best but I knew better. She is running like a champ, and I will be posting the good bits and pieces from my original motor on the sale forum this weekend.

Cost ended up being 2600

Really glad to hear your back on the road, I remember Rob from Garage R, working really hard to get you an engine on time

Hi Lando & Kristi,

Delighted to hear the good news!

Look at the meets - the Herts Meet is ace, and worth a visit if you are here at the beginning of the month.

Warmest regards,

Dennis & Jean White.
