Which Exhaust?

Which Exhaust?
Hi all,
First post, I'm just going through the process of buying a S2000 and it looks like the stock exhaust it has will need replacing.
I know there's a million threads on different exhausts, almost to overwhelming going through them all.
Basically I'm looking to get an exhaust that's made of SS, and isn't droney/loud for loud sake. I would be using the car daily so I want it fairly stock sounding.
I found the Japseed one on the internet which is a good price, but a thread on here mentioned it was a bit droney?
Any recommendations/links to exhausts that would fit the bill?
Cheers

I see the Q300 (non single layer) states that its 'sporty tone, but will not be obnoxiously loud'. Would this be my best bet?

OEM is more expensive then some exhausts and heavier anyway. There's been a lot of conversation about the Milltek exhaust at the moment, might be worth reading the threads.

OEM is stainless steel too.
Usually when exhausts are cheap they drone.

If you don't want it loud for loads sake then I'm not sure the Q300 is for you... As it isn't obnoxious but it is certainly audible.
Certainly try before you buy. Your best bet may well be to get a second hand OEM one. They are stainless and usually last very long. Mine was still strong after 12 years and 120,000 miles.
I'd be intrigued as to why your potential car may need a new exhaust?
I have a Q300 now, and it is louder and has a touch of boom when lower down the Rev range. Up hill in a high.gear at lowish speeds for example.
So rewarding when you floor it though!
Hard one really...
