Default Exhaust choice...

Hey. Finally bagged myself an S2000, AP1 in Berlina Black. Full honda service history and only one previous owner. Paintwork is real swirly, but that is for another day...!

Put on my puffo passion CAI earlier, and noticed a bit more grumble, and better throttle response. I am now currently after an exhaust.

Which one would you recommend? I am looking at either:

Skunk2 Megapower, or;
Buddy Club Pro Spec.

I like the noise on each of them, but is there any gains etc to be made using either? Also, would a decat help with noise/power? Any issues sticking one on?

Cheers.

Grant.

Have a search on here for the UK exhaust mod. Shouldn't cost you more than £100 to do and ticks the boxes.

Hi there.

I have a skunk2 megapower, the system is loud aad initially I found it too loud but now I love it.

A decat will help reduce drone, not eliminate it.

I did a review on here somewhere, have a look and see if you can find it.

For the money I think the skunk2 system is great and looks wicked.

Funnily enough I was having a look at this last night!

To be honest, no .

The system is loud so gives the illusion of speed.

Im sure with a tune the gains will be more pronounced.

Im having a tune done soon, we will see!

I can say I agree with Mike. Got the Skunk2 on mine and love it! Never had my bungs in, so dont know how much quieter that makes it. I will be fitting a decat onto mine this weekend so will report what that does.

The bungs do make a slight difference on long trips, however I prefer them left out.

I used the skunk2 system with a HFCat for a few days over my MOT period and I found the noise to be considerably less than with a decat pipe.

Here is my review of the system: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/105...apower-review/

Where are you based grant? If you are local to me I wouldnt mind taking you for a spin to demo it.

Nice one.

Fitting is a doddle.

My OEM Cat was rusted solid to my OEM exhaust, had to remove it all in one go.

Very easy, abit of WD40 and some brute force works a treat.

Awesome, hopefully it'll be here first thing, and I can get the car in the air and get it on! Just a few bolts?
