Where do I start looking for extended warenty's and roughly how much are they?

Give Dave at Brayley Honda a call if you want a Honda warranty. I have renewed a couple with them on my old Civic and now the S2. They honor the club discount on the warranties (10% I think)

Approx £400 after discount.

Or warranty direct who are more expensive!

I was at the honda dealer yesterday and to extend my warranty it was £250... The dealer is Arnoald Clark...

now would that be there warranty or honda Extented Warrenty?

Has anyone actually made a claim using an extended warranty on a car more than 5 years old? For example the usual engine or maybe gearbox failure?

I can't see them paying out tbh?

 

I buy my warranty in the hope/expectation it'll pay out in the event of engine failure. There's little reason to suggest that it won't.

It also provides European recovery, so makes a reasonable amount of financial sense.

 

I suspect them using every little modification or even oil top-up not done by the dealer against you in order to get out of paying.

Which on a 5yr old car is easily done I guess...
