Faded Dashtop
Hi there,
My dashtop's looking a bit faded, except, for some reason, the passenger airbag cover. Anyonw know what would be the best thing to clean it up?
Cheers, Matt
PS. It's a red interior, if that matters.

Yeah, it looks really odd. A few people have even asked if the airbag's gone off and been replaced, so it must be quite obvious to others as well.
Cheers, i'll have a look into it.

Autoglym bumper gel? Seriously.

That's exactly why I went for black.
I'd recommend evertyone treat their plastic with Raggtopp roof treatment.
It dries very matt/satin, unlike every other nasty interior dressing and has UV protectors in it.

Yeah - a new liquid variety today, apparently.
We get daylight & since the roof's rarely up, fading can be a problem. In fact, it's a lot greyer than the Civic of the Prelude, which I don't think is quite how it was once.
Red pigments are particularly sensitive to UV fading.
