Default Failed MOTemissions

Need some advice guys please, just taken my pre-facelift for MOT which it failed due to out of spec. emissions. I had a AEM mk2 installed September last year and had noticed that the car was using more fuel than before but seemed to running o.k otherwise ,even took it to Oulton Park recently for a track day.
Todays test results were as follows:-

CO - 4.135/ 4.098%
HC - 138/138 ppm
Lamda - 0.881/0.882
CO2 -12.00/12.02%
O2 -0.10/0.09 %

Should hold my hands up now and say that I put a fuel additive in a full tank a couple of weeks ago and haven't driven or re-fuelled the car since. I do that once a year to hopefully keep things clean. Think perhaps I should have run the petrol/aditive mix off and re-fuelled.

Is it worth putting the OEM ECU back in the car for retest or is the problem likely to be something else?
Any help would be appreciated, supposed to be, supposed to be north of Perth for a Drive it Day rally this weekend.

Thanks
Phil

are those results pass vs actual result? If so then that is one harsh fail being so close to good... Put a clean tank of fuel in!

No not decat just original cat.
The readouts shown are for 2 runs through and are way out on CO and CO2 in both instances.

Thanks for the replies guy's and further suggestions really welcome.

The lambda reading you posted 0.8 is showing a rich mixture (read at gas analyser) and will throw the CO and CO2 out. Are the results you posted from the idle or fast idle test ?

I would replace the aem ecu with the original providing injectors are oem size etc

Hi
Failures shown as:-
"CO at idle excessive"
"CO content after second fast idle excessive"
"Lamda reading after second fast idle outside specified limits"

Running N.A with oem injectors. Will try tomorrow with original ECU and hope for the best.

Unhappy

Perhaps I'll get some fault codes up if I re-fit the oem ECU?
Be nice to have it fit for weekend or else we are in the Stag
