Default Fans not working: overheating

Hey guys, at a bit of a loss here.
Ash's S2000 is overheating on idle due to the fans not kicking in.
When the car is moving and there's airflow across the rad it's fine which makes me believe that there's flow in the system and there's no air locks

Fuse has been changed
Relays have been swapped for a working one
Both fans have been swapped for working ones
Don't think it's thermostat due to both hoses being hot and temps being fine when driven.

Could be water pump?
Could be faulty temp sensor on rad?

Things that haven't been checked yet.
Coolant level at stone cold (would have been first thing I checked but car was already hot when issues arose)

Penny for your thoughts?

Have you tried an obd2 reader checked the coolant temp?

A dicky thermostat can cause it to overheat.

Radiator fan switch (N/S bottom of rad) would be my first port of call. They are ~ £10 from motor factors.

Screwed into the rad, basically a temp sensor?

Do the fans work when the air-con is turned on?

Nope, I thought one of the fans should come on when the AC is turned on but it didn't.

Does the fan switch have a single or double wire?(I really can't remember) if it's two wires can't you just bridge them,if it comes on then it's the switch right?? Or am I totally wrong?

Good plan!
From what I recall on mine it's 2 wires,
We'll have a go tomorrow before trying to swap them un-necessarily

You should be able to bridge them IIRC.
