Default Fast Road Set Up

Has anyone had a fast road set up done on their S2000?

Fitting meister-r coliovers in the coming weeks and was wondering if i should get a fast road set up to go alongside them. Would probably take it to revolution motorstore in Gateshead, unless anyone can suggest somewhere better (preferably in the Newcastle area).

Thanks.

Fast Road = Excessive Tyre Wear

From my experience ... also no great need for it, from my experience.

Ok but would getting the camber, toe, caster etc. set up to complement the coilovers not be worthwhile?

Newcastle, so A1M?

And what is a "fast road setup"?

Possibly should have elaborated a little. Basically a 4-wheel alignment, to adjust camber, caster, toe etc.

Just wondering if it is worthwhile after installing coilovers or should i just stick with OEM settings?

In my limited experience, fitting aftermarket coilovers means that certain single track b-roads (around Buxton certainly) become 'Satans Alley' and are barely enjoyable, even on full soft!

So your 'fast roads' where are they?

Changing suspension is always a compromise, so are you going to track your S or do you like hooning down pot-holed, off camber, rutted b-roads?

I believe the question may have been misunderstood. this set up is essentially for driving fast on a road not necessarily driving on fast roads if that makes sense. Basically i am asking is it worthwhile altering the geometry on the car to complement new coilovers or will standard settings be ok.

You should definitely do that.

What do you want from it? If you wanted OEM, you probably shouldn't have fitted coilovers. It's certainly worthwhile, makes a huge difference, but a more aggressive setup probably means more tyre wear and more unpleasant tramlining.
