I have had quotes from them but never bought anything as I have always found the parts cheaper elsewhere.

I always use www.find-a-part.com

I've had 'an experience' with them. I bought a few body parts which weren't as they had been described (slight damage). Admittedly my mistake was not checking them sooner or when they arrived but I thought there is no point in removing the protection until the parts are ready to use since they'd be sitting in a body shop. In trying to sort the issue out I spoke to about 5 different people who tried to recall the damage. None of their versions matched but even so they refused to admit their mistake or provide any refunds.

The parts weren't cheap either.

If you do decide to buy something I would have a list of questions and carry out all the appropriate checks when the parts arrive. Also make a point of asking about refund policies and get names so you can speak to the same person.

If you buy anything off the internet, you have a right to return within 7 days under the distance selling laws.

This may be useful for any future purchases you make over the internet.

if you need a hand i can check if they are what they say they are, i have used them for bits and bobs without issue as i am only 8 odd miles from them, they are a big S2000 breaker, they try and buy all that are smashed up as they know they can make good money but if you go with cash you will get a much better deal.

if you need a hand let me know.

Thanks for your help, the price was a little on the step side but worth it if the engine was good.

S2UK If I go for it I may take you up on your offer

Regards

I bought my car from the guy that runs 247 spares. I'll PM you his details and you may get a bit more comfort from knowing that he's involved personally.

when i went a few weeks back he had no seats worth buying, most cars i saw were high impact so roofs gone and most body panels smashed to bits, but it changes very quickly with what he has.

I got some parts from them which ended up going straight to the tuners, when they arrived the parts had carpet tape on some sections which I later found out to be covering BIG scratches and dints!!!

I had to phone them about 100 times before anyone would do anything for me & I am STILL waiting for either a refund or replacement parts.....
