Default Final Ratio?

Someone asked the other day, are you having your final ratio done? They also said, "dont you find it slow in a straight line" (relating to not having the final ratio done).

Didnt really know what they meant and didnt have a chance to ask what it was!

What did they mean? Something to do with 6th gear? Its a JDM if that makes a difference.

Many Thanks

Lewis
