It shouldn't affect the boost...should it The air is still going directly from the supercharger through the power cooler and into the intake manifold. The front mount is just to cool/circulate the liquid that the air passes through in the power cooler.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
You are right so long as the FMIC is on the wate side.
Most people use them on the air side so you lose a little "boost" due to the extra pressure drop over the longer pipes and larger IC matrix

Glad you are enjoying it
I still miss my boosted monster!

for the reasons Mikey says however there's more surface area id get it on a dyno and confirm.

Even if it does drop boost over the stock unit, you'll have lower intake temps and the condensor fins maybe better quality/better packed than the stock unit so it isn't worse as such.

The bad thing is you'll will want to up boost sooner or later lol.

Visually, i dont like these big FMIC's I like it kept stealthy - you cant really tell my car has been modified and running an SC apart from the exhaust.

I'm loving it...have yet to take the wife out in it. I'm gonna see if I can make her curl up in the fetal position again, like when I first took her out in it....way back when. lol

She might get used to it now though yhus you'll have to up the boost in order for her to take up the fetal position.

p.s I'd fit a catchcan as blowby definitely increases when blown IMO, plus stop boost getting past the stock PCV (i have my doubts if that actually happens on low boost applications though).
