So, tonight I met up with a couple of local guys and for the first time heard what a standard S sounds like...wow quieter than I imagined....bearing in mind I do have a buddyclub pro spec on mine.

One of the lads was standard exhaust and airbox...found that too quiet for my liking.

The other, a standard system with decat and lid off airbox mod.

So after a run in each of them have decided the decat and induction kit is the way forward for me. I was meeting the guys as one of them is hopefully going to do a part exchange with me for my buddyclub and I will get his standard system His is only a weekend and show car so the buddyclub is probably perfect for him and he did love the note off it on vtec....as do I.

Still surprised how quiet a totally standard S is...

 

Haha, yeh they are really quiet standard, I went from standard this morning to a FIPK and Amuse exhaust this afternoon and the difference in noise was amazing, a quiet, subdued noise to a nice deep, sophisticated burble and then a screaming banshee of a car in VTEC. Beautiful!
