Default First Night Drive

Been nice up here in the North East all day and tonight was no different. So after putting my son to bed, I stuck a fleece on and a beanie and just went for a blast (down roads I know). Is it me or does the engine sound much loader on a night drive with the roof down? What a phenomenal piece of machinery the S is, god knows how Honda are going to top this wonderful car.

I dont think ive grinned more recently than driving back from the last meet on clear roads with the top down.

Had a chav shout cock at me as I drove past a bus stop but I just thought to myself "who waits for a bus in the dark at 10pm shouting cock at the guy who earns more than he will (sorry, who gets more benefits) in 5 years and is just having fun"

Then I forgot about him at the next set of lights

Done this so many times. Balmy summer nights "dans le Sud" and even on nights with sub zero temperatures with the heater on full blast. Even the wife likes it.

I too agree, great having the top down at night, the missus isn't that keen.

The words I'm cold, spring to mind,

It's the best, especially through open country, love the sounds and smells
A motorbike on four wheels.

One of the main reasons I fitted heated seats.

I always considered it as a motorbike on 4 wheels...
