Default First time out for two weeks.....

And an oncoming MX5 with old fart driving waves and flashes me!

Nearly turned around in the road to catch him and see the look on
his face.

When I had the Lotus people stared all the time but in this its usually
old men in MX5's, MGF's and MR2 Roadsters that stare. I'm convinced
they don't know what I'm driving..

Russ.

There is always the chance that he was just being friendly to a fellow convertible driver.

Oh no wait, you're in England, that doesn't happen down there does it?

Wonder if MX5 drivers mistake the S for one of their own, like certain S drivers mistake the MX5 for an S?

I used to get a wave from a nice grey haired old lady driving a silver S in Wakefield a while back. ... Not seen her in a while. Might have ditched it.

happens a lot round here if you're both top down.

Had waves from Elises, Caterhams, XK8/Rs and MX5s

Must be a Northern thing
