Well car electrics isn't my strong suit and the biggest problem I had was that the relay that came with the horns was different to the one in the instructions. That said the rest is pretty easy. On Nigel's advice I just removed the top cover plate in front of the radiator and did the job from above rather than underneath. They sound great You'll be able to do it. If you haven't got any, get a proper pair of crimping pliers for the connectors.

Soon I'll be able to hear you car from here Tonky!

Why not point the air horns backwards - the jet boost effect

Anyone going for quad horns?

Seriously, I think I'll upgrade the horn sooner or later... At Bentwaters Andy W. had to use his horn once.... it's even more embarrising in the company of a lot of nice cars/owners...

Tonky, they are air horns, right? I've had problems with airhorns is the past with moisture and crud getting into the compressor and with your UK climate, I think this may be a problem there, too. The compressor inards eventually get corroded and either seize up or don't blow air well. I remember the instructions said something about putting a couple drops of oil into the lube orifice and blowing the horn a couple times. Should do it every couple of months or so. Had I done that when I had mine years ago, I may have NOT gotten dissillusioned with air horns. I have the Fiamm non-air horns. Cheers.

Xviper:

Thanks. That sort of ties in what I'd heard, but I'm gonna take my time over the install and see if I can make it as waterproof as possible If it all goes to rats*** I can always put the others back.
