Default Flaking paint

Has anyone suffered from this?

Patches just seem to be flaking off

What colour red is it? Is it a 'special' paint ie heat resistant?

Any info would be appreciated

Steven,

Care to give us instruction of how to polish ? Can it be done in situ ?

What are the pitfalls to be wary off ?

Thanks

Dave

I like that look too Steven - I have a spare now and was tempted to do that for when I get bored with the pink look

I'm no expert but

Main thing I was worried about was getting crap inside. I know J8mie said a mate of his blew up his engine after having the cover sandblasted and not making sure it was masked/cleaned up properly.
