Default flat screen tv's and dvd's

I am writing to ask if anyone has put any TV screens or dvd players in there S2000 or if its just a waste of time and money?

I really would like to watch my fast and the furious dvd in my car but that means either angling it on the side of my passenger side or cutting in the dash of my S.

Any suggestions?

thanks in advance

To be honest, I'm normally more focused on the world outside the car - for some peculiar reason it often has a tendency to be passing at high speed

I think we're out of luck for clean TFT installs in the S2000. DIN units can't clear the gear stick or dash outcrop so its got to be a mid-dash install. If you do a search on this you'll see some awesome work has been done but its costly stuff. Magicfingas in the UK has a very clean DVD install

We recently acquired a new TV for the house.

it might be cheaper just to buy a recaro seat for the living room,

seriously though it is possible - I don't have one but I have seen quite a few in Japan.

I have a JDM sat/nav installation in mine..... I don't use the TV function, but have noticed that with the top down, it is very difficult to see the sat/nav instructions anyway, due to glare on the screen.

Personally I wouldn't recommend a TV installation to others. It is nice to have it as it is a bit different, but not really worth the money that it would cost....

Am I remembering wrongly or does MagicFingaz have a DVD/Sat Nav set up in his car. I seem to recall a screen that came out of the dash above the stereo???
Was it just Sat/Nav??
