Just been sent this link, apparently its the prototype version of the S2000, you can see the body shape and lines. Did they release any of these?

Didn't know it went so well.

No, it's a hand-built prototype. The lights would be illegal for a start.

Think of it as a sort of reference model in the design.

Had a five-cylinder 2.5 & slushbox from a Vigor/Inspire to drive it.

Also, the roll bars made a right mess in the wind tunnel, so they had to go...

 

Are these honda engines?

 

Honda G25 engine.

They put it inline canted over in a posher, longer Accord, driving the front wheels. called the Vigor.

Would have made an excellent base car for SH-AWD (which they did try) but then dropped it in favour of transverse V6s in the Inspire/TL/RLs.

The S2000 got a bespoke mentalist engine instead.

Interesting how 'my' wheels got scaled-down a size.
