I recently put my S2000 up for sale on autotrader (and pistonheads).
A potential buyer phoned me today, and asked me if I was advertising it on ebay, before informing me that someone had put it up on ebay, ripped off all the photos and text verbatim etc

As well as advertising it for an unfeasibly low price they have provided no contact details apart from an email address. I have reported the auction to Ebay, but 9 hours later, it is still up.

If you are happy to, please would you also report the auction? It is item number 330297200816

Although I have not been to any meets, I have been on here for a couple of years, as well as waved at a few fellow S2Kers (in Crowthorne especially), so I hope you feel you can help.

I phoned Ebay. Reported it.. The guy on the end of the phone pulled it.

Probably doing some investigating now.

Yep, It is still there. I phoned them also, and was told to use the report button at the bottom of the auction page.

Most frustrating.

This was showing up on some servers.

OK... You still have a problem!!!!

 

How can they do that? Pressing the contact seller button goes to an error page. I have emailed the email addy at the bottom of the page but they have not yet responded.

I will be going to speak the Plod tomorrow. Not sure they will be able to help, but at least it is on record that I have reported it.
