Default Front Bumper Done

Got rid of all my stonechips, had my false ducts cut out, and the front numberplate monstrosity removed. For now i have stuck my plate on the front, but I'm not sure i like it. Here's some pics of the bumper b4 i stuck the plate on

Looks good without the plate, shame it has to go back on, when the monstrosity (spelling) is removed are there and fittings or holes to fill. Was about to go look outside at mine but it's at home and I'm at work, dolt!!

Cheers

there were holes, I had them plastic welded (I think) filled up anyway, before it was sprayed.

I was hoping they were just stuck on (very wishful thinking) as the nose looks much smoother without the number plate holder. The front end has only just been resprayed so I would be spending money for the sake of it. Guess I'll have to live with the chunky black brick on the front. Be intersted to see where the plate ends up, just saw a pic with a stick on type paper plate, similar to the old mgbgt's or e types (can't remember which)

Where do we stand with the law regarding front number plates ?

Reasons :

1) Front number plates look gash. Your example without the plates looks much better.

2) With a GPS speed camera detector, chances of getting done by a GATSO from behind are slim. So the real threat are the b@stards with the laser guns who zap your front number plate. No front number plate would solve this issue.

Bikes don't have to have fronts, just backs. So does anyone know the wording around displaying a front number plate on a car, and any rules on where it has to be ?

That looks just great Don't spoil it by putting the number plate back , paint it on a grill tech:

looks smart, ian

what sort of costs are you looking at ?

could put a sticker number plate on

A company based in mildenhall do printing of any size plate either on a plate or in sticker form, impress-express, they also do resized plates and are not really that bothered about legal issues as long as you sign the diclaimer. gordon & martin 01638 718878.

nice looking fron tend though without the plate.

Looks a nice job AE , did you get a perfect match ?

I do like the idea for the NoPlate that mikdys has . I have seen a couple of Elises around here without a front plate .
