Thanks for the input!! Hey aren't these things supposed to be for kids. On the subject of the PS2 we were thinking about getting a DVD player a while back. Whilst they're cheap enough now, I wasn't overkeen because it would have only got the occassional use. Whilst looking round Curries and spotting the PS2's we realised that it was a games console and top quality DVD movie player! What more justification do you need? Yeah we got one

I remember when Gran Turismo first came out. Had to take a week of work sick

Get some decent speakers hooked up to the PS2 (like a big sub) and the sound should be pretty close to the real thing.

What I really want to know is, Why doesn't my car bounce of walls/other cars without any damage or loss of NCB

GT3 for PS2. The reason I bought the PS2 in the first place. Shame I've had to wait nearly a year for the game.....

Having seen the demo it's absolutely brilliant. You can see drivers heads and sunlight of glass etc.

Have you tried Formula 1 on the PS2. Brilliant graphics. If you really want to you can change the setup of the car. Only thing you can't do is move the ballast about...
